Robert Gerald Bisek April 1, 1938 - June 29, 2022 Robert “Bob” Bisek, 84, of Independence, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully while in hospice care at Grandview Nursing Home in Blair, Wisconsin, Wednesday, June 29. He was the 8th of 10 children born to Adam and Gertrude (Skroch) Bisek. He suffered debilitating seizures as a child which caused many health problems for his entire life. Bob worked many manual jobs, including farm labor, many years for Pientok Construction, and most recently working with his brother Adrian in a scrap metal business. Bob was a very hard worker who always put in a full day’s work. His declining health caused him to be moved to Grandview Nursing Home in 2010, where he had been since. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters: Adrian Bisek, Bernice Bisek, Delores Klink, Irene Slabik, Donald Bisek, Romell Bisek , and Joseph Bisek. He is survived by his brother Jerome Bisek, and his sister Gertrude Wilcziek, and sisters-in law Bernice (Jerome) Bisek, Patricia (Donald) Bisek, and Charlotte (Joseph) Bisek, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends. There will be no visitation, but friends and family are welcome at a graveside service at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery on Friday, July 8, at 10:30 AM with Reverend George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Edison Funeral Home.
