Norman Miller, 88, formerly of Whitehall, died on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Pigeon Falls Health Care Center. Norm was born one of 12 near Caryville, WI on April 9, 1934, to Fred and Frieda (Wagnild) Miller. Norm was a farmer all of his life and loved working with cows, tilling fields and operating farm equipment. He found true enjoyment and fulfillment being outside and working the land. After high school, Norm was united in marriage to Marian Skjonsby, and the couple took over Marian’s family farm, rural Whitehall. When he wasn’t farming, Norm loved to hunt and play dartball, in which he earned many trophies. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed attending Dairy Expos. He was very proud of his grandsons’ achievements in showing cattle at the local, state, and national level. Norm is survived by his wife: Marian of Pigeon; daughter: Jennifer (Patrick) Crowley of Omro; grandsons: Hunter and Bryce Crowley; sister: Ivadell Howe; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 9-11 a.m. at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, WI.
