Larry C. Roskos

Larry C. Roskos, 63, of rural Independence, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his home. Larry was born December 5, 1954 in Mondovi, to Clarence and Agatha (Kampa) Roskos. He married Jane Marsolek September 19, 1981 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence. She died November 16, 2008. Larry graduated from Independence High School in 1973. He farmed in Chimney Rock Township until retirement. He is survived by two sons, Scott (fiancée, Jennifer Putman) of Gilmanton and Jason (special friend, Alexis Bryan) of Wausau; two brothers, Harold (Barbara) Roskos of South Milwaukee and Roger (Tammy) Roskos of Independence; a sister, Elizabeth Bass of Racine. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents and an infant brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., followed by a rosary, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, and one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Friday.
