Jessie Dumback

Jessie Dumback, 98, of Independence, died Friday, April 12, 2019 at Grand View Care Center, Blair. Jessie was born July 3, 1920 in Trempealeau County, to John and Tena (Julson) Bolstad. She married Dominic Symiczek and later married Allie Dumback. Jessie loved to bake pies and garden. “You always have to have coffee” She was an active member of Independence Lutheran Church. Jessie is survived by her son, Edward “Porky” (Jane) Symiczek of Arcadia; two daughters, Burnelle Kowalsky of Whitehall and Joyce (Daniel) Kwosek of Holcombe, Wis.; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands and son, Donald “Toby” Symiczek. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Independence Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Tobiason officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, rural Independence. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
