Jennifer Brave

Jennifer Brave, 62, of rural Arcadia, died Friday, March 23, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospital-St. Mary’s Campus, Rochester, Minn. Jennifer was born in Columbia City, Indiana on May 24, 1955 to Thomas and Norma (Johnston) Jones. She married Mark Brave on July 26, 1975 in Fort Wayne, Ind. Jennifer was Director of Operations at Western Technical College. She loved her family, horseback riding and pets. Survivors include her husband, Mark; a daughter, Penny (Monte) Burstad of Colfax; a son Nicholas (Melanie) Brave of Cottage Grove, Minn.; four grandchildren, Olivia and Connor Burstad, Jack and Zeke Brave. Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Edison Funeral Home, Independence.A time for personal reflections will be offered at 7:00 p.m. No other services are scheduled.
