Deloris M. Klevgard

Deloris Mary (Sampson) Klevgard was born on July 26, 1924 in Mondovi to Clayton and Alphena (Seymore Ricks) Sampson. She grew up in the Lookout area of Buffalo County and graduated from Gilmanton High School. She married Leslie Klevgard in November of 1945. They were married for 56 years until his death in 2001. Deloris passed away on August 14, 2017 at the Strum Nursing Home.She is survived by children: Linda (Bob) Gregerson of Prior Lake MN; Dale (Sandy) Klevgard of Hayward WI; Pat (Dan) Jankee of Chippewa Falls, WI; Roxie (Jarvis) Holstad and Lori (Dan) Gullicksrud of Strum WI; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, sister Bernice Hovey of Fort Dodge IA and brother-in-law, Roland McMillie of El Paso, TX, and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.   She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, son and daughter-in-law – Eugene and Edna Klevgard, granddaughter Cynthia Gregerson, sister Doris McMillie, brother Donald Sampson, and brother-in-law Sherman Hovey.   A celebration of her life service will be held at Chimney Rock Lutheran Church,  N43255 Church Rd, Strum, WI 54770 on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1 pm with visitation 1 hour before the service.
