Dana J. Riphenburg, 74, of rural Osseo passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire Dana was born January 23, 1945 in Dubuque, Iowa, to Julius and Genevieve (Erthum) Klauer. She married Ken A. Riphenburg June 4, 1966 in Cassville, Wisc. Dana went to school to become an LPN and worked in nursing homes in Milwaukee and Osseo. She and her husband farmed in rural Osseo where she helped manage the daily activities with 500 calves while she was a homemaker and raised five children. Later, they managed and raised elk and whitetail for their business, High Country Fish and Game Reserve. Dana was a member of Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church. Dana is survived by her husband, Ken A. of rural Osseo; daughter, Kelly (Anthony) Tortoriello of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., three sons, Mark Riphenburg of Boonton, N.J., Chad (Shelley) Riphenburg of Fall Creek and Eric Riphenburg of rural Osseo; two granddaughters, Kaylee and Zoey Riphenburg of Fall Creek; three sisters, Pat (John) Rauch of Milwaukee, Joan (Fred) Rohrer of Watertown, Wisc. and Debbie (Mike) Duncan of Oconomowoc, Wisc.; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Riphenburg; parents, Julius and Genevieve Klauer; two brothers, Rod and Bill Klauer. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2019 at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church in Osseo. Burial will be in the Osseo Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from noon until time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations to the memory of Dana J. Riphenburg made be made to the Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church to assist in the repairs to the portion of roof that collapsed during the recent snow.
