December 20, 1947 — November 19, 2021

Carol Ann Roberts, 73, of Strum died peacefully at home with her family by her side from Alzheimer’s/Dementia under the wonderful care of St. Croix Hospice on Friday, November 19, 2021. Carol was born in Galesville on December 20, 1947 to Maynard and Esther (Schock) Robinson. Carol spent much of her youth growing up in Trempealeau and graduated from Healy Memorial High School in Trempealeau with the class of 1966. Carol went on to attend secretarial training at WWTI in La Crosse before she began working for Peerless Chain in Winona. Carol was united in marriage to Tarry Roberts at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church on August 2, 1969. The couple then moved to Texas, where Carol was employed with Houston Lighting and Power, now known as Center Point Energy, for over 33 years. Carol was also very involved with the local Chamber of Commerce, where she earned many civic awards, and the Legion Auxiliary. After her retirement, she and Tarry moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Carol loved the outdoors and doing outdoor activities such as planting flowers, boating, camping, and enjoying campfires in the yard. Most of all, Carol loved being around her family, as she cherished every birthday, holiday, sporting event and graduation. The memories, her wit, spunk and humor will warm the hearts of her family forever. Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Tarry; daughters: Tammy (Dennis Rachal) Roberts of Independence and Stacy (Tracey) Allen of Strum; grandchildren: Jamie (Isaac O’Donnell) Allen, Taylor (Brittany Waldera) Allen and Chelsea Rachal; great-grandchildren: Raelynn O’Donnell and Emmitt Allen; siblings: Mary (Larry) Kopp and Julie (Glenn) Klomsten both of Trempealeau, and David (Julie) Robinson of Galesville; sisters-in-law: Marion (Henry) Schubert, Kathleen (Kenny) Sonsalla, Bert Hauser and Beverly Seekamp; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends in Texas and Wisconsin.
