Bruce Bautch went home to his heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Bruce was born December 26, 1958, to George and Shirley (Cullen) Bautch of Independence, Wis. He was the sixth of seven children. Bruce dedicated his early years to law enforcement, known to the community as “Brucey Badge.” In his later years, he enjoyed traveling the country as an over the road truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley and being with family and friends camping at the lake. In 2019, Bruce was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer. He fought courageously for two very long years. Unfortunately, he contracted Covid and was unable to overcome the complications. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Christine of Chippewa Falls; his children, Drew Bautch of Independence, Wis., and Erinn Bautch of Independence; his granddaughters, Arielle, and Audrey; as well as his bonus children, Justin Lamb of Adams, Wis., Amanda (Eric) Kuderer of Superior, Wis. and Travis (Kelly) Lamb of Tomah, Wis.; eleven bonus grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Jay (Mary) Bautch of Houston, Texas, Debbie Bautch of Farmington, N.M., Terry Bautch of Neillsville, Brian Bautch of Chippewa Falls and Lynn (Mike) Howard of Waunakee, Wis., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Kevin “K-Wamp” Bautch. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 7 from 1-5 p.m. at the Whitehall-Pigeon Rod and Gun Club.
