Agnes P. Waldera

Agnes P. Waldera, 95, of Independence, died on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Gundersen Tri-County Nursing Home in Whitehall under the care of St. Croix Hospice. Agnes was born November 17, 1927, in Independence, to Peter and Mary (Symiczek) Stellar. She married Ernest Waldera on June 25, 1946, at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence. She was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the N.C.C.W. and rosary society. Agnes is survived by her three children: Elizabeth Waldera of Palmdale, CA, Kathryn (Michael) Di Salvo of San Jose, CA, and Linus Waldera of Independence; and one grandson: Michael David Di Salvo of San Jose, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother: Adolph Stellar; and sisters: Helen Deuterman and Theresa Pampuch. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023, at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Family and friends are welcome for visitation one hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
