TERRENCE J. MARTINOVICI HIXTON – Terrence “Terry” J. Martinovici, 68, of rural Hixton, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. Terry was born February 4, 1942 in Milwaukee, to Jon and Florence (Isaacson) Martinovici. He married Nancy J. Mitchell on July 13, 1974 in Lima, Ohio. Terry was a career Teamster member for over 40 years. He drove truck for several companies; the last employer was Allied Systems, Inc. He retired in 2006. Terry served in the U.S. Navy. He loved to hunt and fish and was proud of his bear. He also loved hunting deer on the farm with his children. Survivors include his wife, Nancy of rural Hixton; two sons, Ryan of Merrill, Wis. and Jeff of Milwaukee. Terry was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, with Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, Wis. at noon on Saturday. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home.
