Patrick G. Stendahl, 62, of Independence, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.
Pat was born June 4, 1954, in Whitehall, to Ivan and Modesta (Pampuch) Stendahl.
Pat worked on road construction and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping with friends and family, floral gardening and the Packers.
He is survived by a daughter, Staci (Doug) Martin of Ramsey, Minn.; step-daughter, Renee Webb of Independence; brothers, John (Mary) Stendahl of Strum and Richard Stendahl of Independence; sister, Jean Sobotta of Independence; three grandchildren, Carli, Carson and Louis Martin and three step-grandchildren, Alex and Dylan Przybilla and Caleb Bosteter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, and one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Monday.
Memorials may be given to Elk Rod & Gun Club for the kids fishing contest.
