Bruce A. Halama, 52, of Whitehall, formerly of Independence, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Clark County from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Bruce was born April 17, 1964. He married Terri Sosalla in 1989 and later divorced. He loved cycling and was a Packer fan. He was employed at Tri City Sanitation in Whitehall.
Bruce is survived by his parents, Gerald and Delores Halama of Independence; sister, Cheryl Halama of Independence; niece, Chelsea (fiancé Mason Moyer) Halama of Eleva; great-niece, Ellie Moyer; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his special friend, Sharlene Witz; grandparents, Albert and Agnes Halama, Joseph and Evangeline Waniorek.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, and one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Thursday.
