Angeline Klimek, 93, of Merrill, Wis., formerly of Independence, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Wausau Manor, Wausau, Wis.
Angeline was born March 1, 1923 in Trempealeau County to John and Anna (Kabus) Marsolek. She married George J. Klimek on October 4, 1944 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Independence. He died October 5, 2014.
Angeline was a dedicated, living wife and mother. She enjoyed being around friends and family.
Survivors include a son, John (Lana) Klimek of Merrill; three sisters, Rose Mish of Galesville, Marian (Quintin) Pronschinske of Arcadia and Eleanore Suchla of Independence; nieces and nephews.
Angeline was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Suzanne Krohn; a sister, Valeria Mish and three brothers, an infant, Leonard and Robert Marsolek.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, with Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
