Steven A. Roskos

Steven A. Roskos, 37, of Independence, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at his home. Steven was born November 11, 1978 in Eau Claire, Wis., to Marcus Allen and Joyce (Gill) Roskos. He married Tina Castilleja. She died January 16, 2016. Steven is survived by his father, Marcus Allen Roskos of Independence; mother, Joyce Stanton of Kodak, Tenn.; sister, Nancy (fiancé Steve Osborn) of Blair; nephew, Isaac Osborn; two step-daughters, Christina Krajefska and her son, Kaden Allen Krajefska of Independence, Connie Krajefska and her children, Lillianna and Nikolas Krajefska of Portage, Ind.; step-sister, Courtney (Chuck) Dunkhase of Kodak, Tenn.; maternal grandmother, Betty Gill of Kodak, Tenn. He is further survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife; niece, Heather Horne and paternal grandparents, Frank and Bertha Roskos. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Independence, with Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace officiating. Entombment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Eau Claire. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
