Allen L. Heiden

WHITEHALL – Allen L. Heiden, 52, of rural Whitehall, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at his home. Allen was born July 29, 1963 in Mount Clemens, Mich. to Elmer and Margaret (Jankowsky) Heiden. He married Julie Anderson May 9, 1987 in Wausau. The couple farmed in Dover Township, Buffalo County from 1987 until 2007 when they moved to rural Whitehall. Allen also worked at Starwood Rafters for several years. He enjoyed woodworking and collecting pens and hats. Survivors include his wife, Julie of rural Whitehall; nine children, Heather, Jenny, Benjamen, Russell, Rebecca, Cole, Noah, Jacob and Allen Heiden Jr.; two grandchildren, Krystal and Kyle Heiden; his mother, Margaret Heiden of Stratford, Wis.; sister, Laura (John) Glassford of Marathon, Wis.; six brothers, Richard (Brenda) of Michigan, Raymond (Sue) of Richland, Mich., Steven (Carol) of Colby, Wis., Karl (Karen) of Stratford, Mark (Mary) of Neillsville and Tim (Dawn) Heiden of Holmen; nieces and nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his father, Elmer. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, with Pastor Jim Christensen officiating.
