Lorraine J. Johnson, 96, of Strum, died Friday, February 5, 2016 at Strum Area Health and Rehabilitation.
Lorraine was born July 14, 1919, in Hale Township to August and Myrtle (Anderson) Fischer. She married Milford O. Johnson August 22, 1942, in Osseo. He died May 13, 1998.
Milford and Lorraine enjoyed traveling on bus trips. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing needle work, crocheting and crafting. She loved to bake; especially chocolate chip cookies. Her family was very important to her.
Lorraine was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and WELCA of Strum.
Lorraine is survived by three children, Marvin (Alice) Johnson of Eau Claire, Maxine (Dennis) Ulberg of Eleva and Vickie (Mark) Hanson of Strum; six grandchildren, Ami (Mike) Wathke, Michael Johnson, Jerry (Barb), Chad (Becky) and Greg (Melissa) Ulberg and Melissa Lionetti; ten great-grandchildren, Bryce and Drew Wathke, Kyle, Austin, Emily, Garrett, Henry and Grace Ulberg and Jacob and Dominic Lionetti; sister, Marie Lee of Whitehall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford; parents; brother, Russell; sister, Leona (Ellwood) Dahl; brothers-in-law, Alvin Lee and Armond Johnson and father and mother-in-law, Albert and Regina Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Strum, with Rev. K. D. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Strum.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Strum.
