Rose Diane Hanson, 72, of Marshall, died Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.
Diane was born November 20, 1942 in Pigeon Township, Trempealeau County, to Raymond and Gertrude (Walek) Pierzina. She married Arthur Hanson on October 20, 1962 at St. John The Apostle Catholic Church in Whitehall.
Diane was a member of Holy Family Parish and its P.C.C.W. in Marshall. She enjoyed fishing and especially her flower gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur of Marshall; two sisters, Beverly Nelson of Racine and Marlyce Konter of Buffalo City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law, Arlin Rose and Bernard Konter and a nephew, David Rose.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic School Gymnasium, Independence, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, and one hour prior to services at the school on Saturday.
