Lorraine Wagner, 76, found her way home on October 9, 2015. She died peacefully at her home in Dodge.
Lorraine was born on April 20, 1939 to Wenzel and Ida (Fillner) Kaiser in La Crosse. She was raised in Iduna and St Joseph Ridge. She married Paul Wagner on October 7, 1961 in Pine Creek, WI.
She had waitressed for over 40 years at Hillside Fish House and Bud and Berts/Southern Belle/The Corner/Beedles until her retirement in 2007. She was nearly world famous for her chocolate chip and sugar cookies in addition to her spectacular apple crisp. Her world revolved around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Paul and their sons. Kevin (Shari) Wagner of Treasure Island, FL and Strum, WI and Todd (Sharon) Wagner of Sterling Heights, MI; six grandchildren, Leah Fox, Travis (Chelsey), Mara, Kevin Mark, Brittney and Kaleb Wagner; five great-grandchildren, Grace and Abbigale Fox, Brookelynn, Jayden and Landyn Wagner; two sisters, Delores Soller and Martha Armstrong; one brother Roger (Emmajean) Kaiser; sisters-in-law, Carol Kaiser, Elsie Kaiser and Dale Kaiser; brother-in-law, George Olson.
She was welcomed into heaven by her parents; and siblings, LaVerne, Arnold (Mildred) Kaiser, Bernard Kaiser, Veronica (Ray) Gerke, Evelyn (Gordy) Olson, Lester Kaiser, Robert (Geraldine) Kaiser, Gladys (Ralph) Brown, Walter (Surjean) Kaiser, Lawrence Kaiser, Irene Olson and Wayne Kaiser; brothers-in-laws, James Soller and Robert Armstrong.
A memorial is being planned at a later date.
