Irvine Lois (Hawkenson, Migda) Whaley, 82, of Cheboygan,Mich., formerly of Eleva, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at her home.
Irvine was born January 30, 1933 in Chimney Rock Township, Trempealeau County, to Harry and Hilda (Johnson) Hawkenson.
Irvine was a homemaker most of her life and loved her children and made many sacrifices for them. She was loved by her family, her friends at church and in the community.
Survivors include eight children, Steve Migda of Petoskey, Mich., Jeanne Lownsberry of Cheboygan, Mike Migda of Cheboygan, Heidi Migda-Richter of Petoskey, Gretchen Burrus of Gaylord, Mich., Jeff Migda of Cheboygan, Christina Migda of Denver, Colo. and Liza Deer of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Kay (Willard) Haigh of Eleva; sister-in-law, Eunice Hawkenson of Eau Claire; nieces and nephews.
Irvine was preceded by two brothers, Berton and Emery Hawkenson and a sister, Eileen Edison.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at Chimney Rock Lutheran Cemetery, rural Strum, Wis.
