Katie Elizabeth Johnson

Katie Elizabeth Johnson passed away on May 28th, 2015. She was born December 18, 1987 to Dennis and Diane (Kamrowski) Johnson. She graduated from Arcadia High School in 2006. Katie was a very hard worker who attended Southeast Technical College-Winona and owned Maid for a Day Housekeeping. She also worked at East End Bar and Troy’s Gas & Grub. She was blessed by the birth of her daughter, Elizaveta in 2009 and loved being a mother. Katie was cherished by friends and family who benefitted from her generous spirit, quick wit, and beautiful and contagious smile. She is survived by her daughter, Elizaveta Johnson, parents Dennis Johnson and Diane Johnson, sister Asia Johnson and brothers Gregory Johnson and Mathias Risler, and her aunt Jillian (Jeremy) Quandt, who played a special role in Katie’s life. She is further survived by nieces Marcelina and Sophia and nephew Alex; grandparents Sylvester Kamrowski and Lois Johnson; aunts and uncles Donna Kamrowski, Jo Ann Alvarez, Carol (Jeff) Hilleshiem, and Chuck (Sara) Kamrowski, Jeff Johnson, Teresa (Joe) Kniseley, Cheryl (John) Rawson, great aunts and uncles, and many beloved cousins, including Natasha Johnson (Emil Rotering) who generously gave her love, time, and care throughout Katie’s illness, and a circle of amazing friends who went above and beyond to support Katie. She will be welcomed into heaven by loving family members, including her grandparents Vivien Kamrowski and Kenneth Johnson, her uncle Jumbo (Kenneth Jr.) Johnson, and her cousin Eldon Kamrowski Visitation will be held at Edison Funeral Home in Independence, WI from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31st, and again from 12:30 pm on Monday, June 1st with a memorial service at 1:30 pm.
