Bernice L. Bisek, 84, formerly of Independence, died Friday, July 26, 2013 in Stoughton.
She was born October 14, 1928 to Adam and Gertrude (Skroch) Bisek. She married Frank Bisek June 4, 1949. He died September 2, 1989.
Survivors include four daughters, Patricia (Robert) Klimek of Independence, Marian Roloff of La Crosse, Louise (Ron) Blodgett of Stoughton and Loretta (Patrick) Pronschinske of Waumandee; 13 grandchildren, Christopher (Kira) Klimek, Lindsay Roloff, Matthew, Nathan and Katie Blodgett, Kyle, Glen, Joel, Lucy, Dane, Dori, Gwen and Dawn Pronschinske; two great-grandchildren, Grant and Madelyn Klimek; three sisters, Delores Klink of Independence, Irene Slabik of South Milwaukee and Gertrude (Ron) Wilcziek of Whitehall; three brothers, Jerome (Bernice) Bisek of Arcadia, Robert Bisek of Blair and Joseph (Charlotte) Bisek of Independence; three sisters-in-law, Pat Bisek of Arcadia, Martha Bisek of Independence and Bernita Bisek of Whitehall.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Eugene Bisek; a sister, Romelle Bisek and two brothers, Adrian and Donald Bisek.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 23, with a prayer service followed by a rosary, at 7:30 p.m., at Edison Funeral Home, Independence.
