STRUM – Marco O. Perez, 15, of Strum, formerly of Independence, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Sacred heart Hospital, Eau Claire, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Marco was a really friendly kid. He had the power to look at your eyes and make a funny face or say a little joke to steal a smile from you. He had love to share to others. He never worried about anything. He lived his life to the fullest, being happy his own way. He enjoyed family reunions and making shape balloons for the little kids. Every time we sang the birthday song, he was the loudest one. He used to tell his mom not to overact because everything was going to be okay. Cleaning the house wasn’t his best quality, but he washed dishes once in awhile. He really liked to draw and listen to music. He was just like every other teenager, but he had something special; he happened to be our teenager. Please remember him always in his good moments. Keep the best memory in your minds-take them straight to your hearts and do not ever let go. We want to thank everyone for all the support we have received. This lets us know how loved Marco was. We feel empty because our eyes can’t see him; but we know that one day we all are going to be together with no worries or pain.
