Robert Suchla

Robert “Bob” Suchla, 64, of rural Arcadia, died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at his home. He was born July 2, 1946 in Arcadia to Ralph and Dorothy (Klimek) Suchla. He married Virginia Slaby on June 13, 1970 in Arcadia. Bob did maintenance work at Foremost Farms in Waumandee for 35 years. He enjoyed restoring toy farm tractors and was a member of the Two Cylinder Club in La Crescent, Minn. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Independence. Survivors include his wife, Virginia of Arcadia; daughter, Stacy Suchla of Onalaska; mother, Dorothy Suchla of Arcadia; brother, Roger Suchla of Arcadia and two sisters, Sharon and Sandra Suchla both of Winona. He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, with Rev. Woodrow H. Pace officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
